Colossal Pop is a free web based review site. We do not charge individuals for subscriptions nor do we solicit organizations for fee based advertising. In other words we don't make any money and we like it that way. We like to be free so we can give unbiased and honest reviews and not feel like obligated to give positive reviews because a company is sponsoring our page. All editors, web developers and reviewers volunteer their time because they love pop culture and entertainment.
However it does cost a certain amount of money to keep this site running and all of this is out of pocket. While we do love that the magazine is free it does take money to pay for mailings, domain name and other minimal expenses.
