From the long running Power Rangers franchise comes Power Rangers RPM. The show can be seen on ABC Kids on Saturday mornings but hasn’t seemed to make much of an impression, which is a shame. As far as Power Rangers shows go, RPM has a lot of heart and probably the best storyline the show has ever had. RPM is very futuristic form its setting in a dying world to the calling of true-hearted teens to save the world from the Venjix Computer Network who is attempting to take over the planet through its evil computer viruses. It’s like Mad Max meets 1984 in the style of Godzilla.

Over the years, many kids have grown up with this franchise and have learned not to expect much but RPM delivers on almost every leve
. The acting is a million times better than most Power Rangers series and the script is much less cheesy, calling on the viewer to hold up his/her end of the bargain and keep up with what is happening. If you are looking for something full of futuristic intrigue and lots of heart for tween or pre-tween (or all you grown up Power Ranger fans) then this is your best bet out of the seemingly hundred of Power Rangers DVDs available.
