James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge have done it again with another page turner that is guaranteed to satisfy. Mr. Patterson never ceases to amaze as he spouts out book after book month after month. I cannot believe that Patterson’s creative well has not run dry as he keeps writing spell binding action novels that continually quench the palates of book consumers around the world.
Detective Mike Bennett is a highly trained and successful hostage negotiator during the day and a single father to ten (yes ten) children. His wife tragically died a few years before and now he is faced with two crises’ that will either get him killed or put in a looney bin. Upon hearing about a new serial killer that is running rampant in NYC who calls himself “The Teacher”. The Teacher is an overzealous and overconfident killer who carefully and purposefully targets and kills individuals who are part of the upper class of NY. Bennett also comes home to a house full of sick children puking on furniture, in shoes, in bathtubs and this sickness gives no sign of letting up. Michael Bennett is set up for a week that he will never forget.
RUN FOR YOUR LIFE is a suspenseful thriller that grabs the reader from the moment you open the book all the way to its thrilling conclusion. I am sure James Patterson fans will find much enjoyment with the latest Michael Bennett novel. I know I for one am looking forward to future adventures of Bennett. Bravo! Mr. Patterson and Mr. Ledwidge on a job well done!
